Today, the discrete communications, media, and entertainment (CME) sectors are coalescing into a multidimensional, expanded market with massive challenges and incredible opportunities. This new market calls for robust computing platforms that meet these stringent new requirements while delivering the power and flexibility needed to support a broad mix of real-time solutions. It also calls for choice in terms of availability, scalability, performance, and cost so that IT systems can be appropriately matched to business demands.

In response to these market dynamics, HP now offers four distinct HP Integrity NonStop servers for communications, media, and entertainment: the HP Integrity NonStop NS16000CG, NS5000CG, NS5000T and NS3000AC servers. All four platforms are built on the Intel® Itanium® processor, enabling HP to take advantage of the latest advances in microprocessor technology.

The HP Integrity NonStop NS16000CG and NS5000CG servers are designated as "carrier grade" and meet Network Equipment Building System (NEBS) spatial and environmental criteria, including enclosure and seismic bracing. These servers take in DC power.

The HP Integrity NonStop NS5000T server uses a commercial enclosure, is not NEBS compliant and takes in DC power.

The HP Integrity NonStop NS3000AC server uses a commercial enclosure, is not NEBS compliant and takes in AC power.
