This document provides an introduction to Exchange Server 2003 and iSCSI storage configuration using the new HP Application Storage Manager (ASM). ASM is part of the HP ProLiant Storage Server iSCSI Feature Pack product and provides the ability to configure, deploy and manage iSCSI storage on HP ProLiant Storage servers. Application Storage Manager provides an application-based user interface for management and monitoring of Exchange storage and allows you to easily configure iSCSI storage and set up Exchange components (Mailbox Stores, Public Folder Stores, and Transaction Logs) on a ProLiant Storage server running Windows Storage Server 2003.
