Visual Studio .NET development for NonStop servers

The HP Enterprise Toolkit—NonStop Edition is a Windows® operating system–based Integrated Development Environment (IDE) that plugs into Microsoft® Visual Studio .NET and allows you to edit, compile, build, and deploy HP NonStop applications written in a variety of programming languages (including programs with embedded NonStop SQL/MP and NonStop SQL/MX databases).

A variety of tools from HP, as well as third-party add-ons, can be used with the Enterprise Toolkit—NonStop Edition.

Microsoft offers free trial versions of Visual Studio .NET, and HP offers a free trial version of the Enterprise Toolkit—NonStop Edition.

Visual Studio.NET download instructions:

a. Go to the Microsoft Visual Studio purchasing options page

b. Scroll down to “Visual Studio .NET Trial Edition.” There are three different versions of Visual Studio.NET; Visual Studio .NET Professional is available on a trial basis by ordering the Visual Studio .NET Trial Edition on DVD.

c. Click on the “Visual Studio .NET Trial Edition” radio button.

d. On the right hand navigation bar, select the proper link to perform the download (U.S. vs. outside U.S. locations / DVD or CD).

e. Add “VStudio .NET Pro 2003 Win32 English 60 Day CD Trial” (currently US $4.95) to your cart and check out.
