HP NonStop technology is used by leading banks worldwide. Today, the majority of all ATM/POS and credit card transactions are processed on NonStop systems, and NonStop servers play critical roles in many of the world’s largest electronic funds transfer networks. NonStop servers are, and have been for over 30 years, the de facto standard whenever there is a need for powerful, high-end servers to run business-critical and mission critical retail banking applications. The unique design characteristics inherent within NonStop technology such as continuous availability, linear scaling, absolute data integrity, along with Open Systems Services and database mixed workload capability, harden financial architecture required by leading banks for these critical applications.
