Automated Storage Manager product discontinued (effective December 31, 2001)

Effective December 31, 2001, the Automated Storage Manager (ASM) product will no longer be available for sale as a Compaq product. Sales and support of the ASM product will be assumed by Integrated Research, effective January 1, 2002.

Affected product: SA27V1: Automated Storage Manager (ASM)

The agreement between Compaq and Integrated Research of Sydney, Australia, for the ASM product expires on December 31, 2001, and will not be renewed. At that time, the ASM product will be:

• Removed from CPSA
• Become obsolete from GCSC (no support services will be available from Compaq as customer support contracts expire)

Customers who wish to purchase the ASM product or who would like continued support must make arrangements directly with Integrated Research prior to December 31, 2001, or before their current support contract expires. Integrated Research will contact current customers to provide details of new support arrangements.
