HP announces the end of sales of the NonStop S-series server I/O Multifunction (IOMF) customer replaceable unit (CRU) effective January 31, 2004. Orders for this product (product ID 1952) placed after January 31, 2004, will be filled only if inventory is available.

1952: IOMF, I/O Multifunction CRU
Replacement product
1980: IOMF2, I/O Multifunction CRU 2 (requires 7360 Power Shelf and Release Version Update G06.11 or later of the NonStop operating system)
The replacement for the IOMF product is the IOMF2 product (product ID 1980). The IOMF2 product became generally available in March 2001 and since January 2002 has accounted for more than 95 percent of total NonStop S-series server IOMF controller shipments.
