HP is announcing that the 4637 disk drive product for NonStop systems has reached the end of sales. Effective immediately, this product is no longer available for order or shipment.
In February 2003, the 4637 disk drive product, with a rotational speed of 10,000 rpm and a capacity of 36 gigabytes, was replaced by the 4672 disk drive product, with a rotational speed of 15,000 rpm and a capacity of 72 gigabytes. At that time the 4637 disk drive product was still available in limited quantities. Available supply has now been consumed.
For customers interested in disk storage hardware for their NonStop S-series servers, the following disk products continue to be generally available and serve as excellent replacement choices for the 4637:
- 4619 15,000-rpm 18-gigabyte disk drive
- 4672 15,000-rpm 72-gigabyte disk drive
