G06.32 is a generally available release version update (RVU) of the HP NonStop operating system for NonStop S-series servers, with shipments beginning on August 19, 2008. Highlights of RVU G06.32 include enhancements to the following security functions, as well as general defect repair:

  • As documented in Support Note S07071, publications for G06.32 and subsequent releases will be published on the http://www.docs.hp.com website.

  • Safeguard enhancements including:
  •  Auditing of LOGOFF events.
  • Users can now set the default value for the CLEARONPURGE attribute on newly created audit files.
  • Addition of the new attributes STATIC FAILED LOGON COUNT and LAST-UNSUCCESSFUL-ATTEMPT.  These attributes are used to record the number of failed logon attempts for a user and the timestamp denoting when the most current failed logon attempt occurred.

  • Support for ServerNet Clustering with the HP Integrity NonStop BladeSystem.

  • Support for V4SE and V8SE network enclosures.  These two enclosures replace the single-port Gigabit Ethernet Servernet Adapter (GESA).
