HP NonStop Availability, Stats, and Performance (NonStop ASAP) software provides in-depth monitoring of HP Integrity NonStop and NonStop S-series servers and software as well as customer applications. Using customer-defined goals, NonStop ASAP determines when the availability or performance characteristics of monitored objects are not meeting service level objectives. The software uses many different methods to notify users of problems and can take actions to correct potential problems before they become serious. NonStop ASAP also stores historical data in a self-managed database.
The latest release of NonStop ASAP (Version 3.0) introduces many new capabilities:
- Monitoring of more than 1,000 new TCP attributes for NonStop TCP/IP and TELSERV
- New in-depth monitoring of memory usage, both physical and virtual, managed by the Kernel Managed Swap Facility (KMSF)
- An optional interface to HP Systems Insight Manager (SIM)
- Ability to integrate graphical color-encoded ASAP HTML data with independent websites for access from any web browser

NonStop ASAP Version 3.0 is capable of monitoring all NonStop TCP/IP and TELSERV connections on NonStop systems using built-in capabilities of user-defined goals, sophisticated alerting techniques, automated actions to correct problems, and a choice of user interface. The NonStop ASAP 3.0 core product monitors all the layers of the NonStop TCP/IP v4 and v6 stack as well as Routes, Subnets, and all NonStop server ports. It also monitors TELSERV processes, services, and windows.

The price for NonStop ASAP Version 3.0 has not increased, and, as always, existing NonStop ASAP customers can upgrade to this new release without charge by ordering SE30V2U or HSE30V2U along with NonStop ASAP 3.0.
