HP NonStop Servlets for JavaServer Pages 6.0 (NonStop Servlets for JSP 6.0) software for HP Integrity NonStop servers is now available.

NonStop Servlets for JSP 6.0 is a deep port of Apache Tomcat 6.0.13, a reference open source implementation of Java™ Servlets and JavaServer Pages (JSP) technologies. This new release of the software incorporates the latest Java Servlet and JSP specifications, Tomcat code fixes, and Tomcat features. It offers new features and enhancements over previous versions, helping you:

  • Implement standards-based Servlet container technology
  • Significantly improve memory utilization
  • Provide a configurable logging mechanism
  • Support Web application and session management
  • Implement enhanced security options
  • Support multiple virtual hosts

NonStop Servlets for JSP is integrated with the HP iTP WebServer and iTP Secure WebServer products, extending their functionality. This integrated environment, which inherits the scalability, reliability, and fault tolerance of the Integrity NonStop system, is built on top of NonStop Transaction Services/MP (NonStop TS/MP) software. NonStop Servlets for JSP 6.0 is compatible with Version 5.0 of NonStop Server for Java and inherits the higher performance of this product’s Java Virtual Machine (JVM).
