The HP NonStop Volume Level Encryption product provides an encryption solution for customers with NonStop Multi-core systems such as the NB50000 and NS2000 and selected NonStop Integrity systems, including the NS16200. For customers who need
to protect sensitive data and meet compliance requirements, the HP NonStop Volume Level Encryption product provides the following key features:
- No modification of customer applications in order to use encryption.
- Fully integrated with NonStop infrastructure.

The HP NonStop Volume Level Encryption product supports Storage-CLIM-connected SAS disks, HP StorageWorks XP Disk Arrays and LTO Generation 4 tape devices.
Integration with the HP Enterprise Secure Key Manager provides high availability encryption key generation and retrieval, and storage of millions of encryption keys while meeting PCI/DSS requirements for key management.
For devices that are not supported by the HP Storage CLIM and need a data at rest encryption, NetApp offers an appliance called DataFort.
