Spice Nepal Private Ltd (SNPL), the country’s first privately owned mobile operator, jumped from 0 to 650,000 subscribers in the first 18 months of operation. The company, headquartered in Kathmandu, is now on the verge of reaching one million customers. The explosive growth of its subscriber base required that SNPL scale up its IT solution. To that end, the mobile operator is using an end-to-end convergent IT solution from CBOSS to automate its pre- and post-paid billing, customer care, interconnect settlements, network management, SMS- and USSD-based services, CRM, value-added services, business intelligence, and dealer relationship management.

The CBOSSrtb real-time billing system is based on the NonStop platform, which provides unsurpassed availability.
