G06.30 is a generally available release version update (RVU) of the HP NonStop operating system for NonStop S-series servers, with shipments beginning on February 1, 2007. Highlights of RVU G06.30 include the following new and enhanced functions, as well as defect repair:

  • The default values of the INODECACHE and LINKCACHE attributes of the HP Open System Services (OSS) Name Server have been changed from 4,096 to 64,000.
  • NetBatch software has been improved to support configuration of a maximum of 50 master jobs and an increase to a maximum of 32,767 assigned job numbers for the scheduler.
