When information in real time makes a difference

The HP Real Time Information Director (RTID) is a key component in HP’s delivery of real-time solutions on the HP NonStop server platform. Information doesn’t sit still. Data sits still. Information moves. Information has to be used in order for it to be information.

RTID directs information, accepting complex XML data and populating an operational data store (for example, the HP ZLE Data Store). It directs information to applications that need it for business analysis, planning, and decision making—where it is often needed in real time. “Real time” is the emerging competitive game. Having information available in real time gives you an advantage over your competition.

In addition, RTID provides services as it moves data, creating enrichment in the data-to-information process. RTID provides data cleansing, for example, removing duplicate names or correcting address errors. RTID can apply business rules, automating processes that people often do. RTID provides security and auditing—features important to mission-critical applications.

For more information, check the product data sheet.

RTID is an Independent Product (SR30v1) and is orderable through the normal channels. Targeted for advanced, comprehensive solutions in the area of financial services, healthcare, and supply chain, RTID is often combined with professional services to deliver a complete solution tailored to each customer’s needs and requirements.
